Business is based on human relationships. Consequently it is important for an MBA course to have an Alumni association whose main goal is to create and sustain relationships. More specifically, the MBA Alumni Association has the target of creating and sustaining freindships among persons who shared the experience of two years of hard work and fun attending the executive MBA course at the THM.
To create and sustain friendships among persons who shared the experience of two years of hard work and fun attending the Executive MBA Course.
Good friendships don’t need a business interest, but we will be happy if they can also contribute to the professional development of our members.

“Consider the following. We humans are social beings. We come into the world as the result of others’ actions. We survive here in dependence on others. Whether we like it or not, there is hardly a moment of our lives when we do not benefit from others’ activities. For this reason it is hardly surprising that most of our happiness arises in the context of our relationship with others.”
H.H. Dalai Lama
During the last module of the Executive MBA Course at the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg the students of the second course spend a week of lecture at the partner university Pfeiffer in Charlotte, North Carolina. All students enjoyed the time together and in the end, they were happy and sad at the same time: happy for the nice time they had during the two study years but sad because the MBA adventure was finishing. As a result they decided to establish an Alumni Association to stay in touch and to build up a networking community.
The “interim” board quickly prepared the first draft of the foundation charter that was signed by all the students of the course. This was the first milestone of our association.
